PROJECT OVERVIEW

Design, fabrication, and installation of a custom wall-to-wall library system. This project transforms the space using modular, architectural-grade cabinetry designed to fit the specific dimensions of the room, accommodating existing windows, doors, and traffic flow.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Fabrication Strategy

Construction: "Stockton Mill" style sturdy construction using 3/4" cabinet-grade veneer plywood for all structural components (sides, tops, bottoms, shelves).

Face Frames: Solid HARDWOOD face frames for durability and a seamless, built-in appearance.

Backing: 1/4" solid backing on all units for structural rigidity and wall protection.

Modularity: Cabinets are constructed as individual "carcasses" (boxes) to allow for precise installation and future movability if required.

2. The Layout (11 Total Custom Units)

All tall units are 84" Height x 10" Depth.

North Wall (Main Library):

Three (3) custom vertical bookcases (approx. 32-5/8" wide each).

Designed to maximize shelf space while clearing the entry door swing.

East Wall (Entry):

One (1) wide vertical bookcase (36" wide).

Positioned to accommodate the door opening.

West Wall (Window/Console Wall):

Two (2) vertical bookcases (30" wide each) to the left of the window.

One (1) low-profile "Console" bookcase (48" wide) fitted underneath the window.

South Wall (Window Framing):

Two (2) vertical bookcases (25.5" wide) framing the left side of the window.

Two (2) vertical bookcases (22" wide) framing the right side of the window.

Unit Pricing:

Custom Hand-Built Cabinetry (11 Units @ $400.00/ea)

TOTAL PROJECT COST: $4,400.00

THIS INVOICE: $2,200

FINAL BILLING AT DELIVERY $2,200

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment Schedule: 50% Deposit due upon acceptance to cover materials and initiate the build schedule. Remaining 50% due upon completion of project.

Lead Time: Estimated delivery 2nd week of February 2026

Exclusions: Electrical work (moving outlets/switches) is not included in this bid.
