  • The Stockton Mill: Philosophy & Delivery Standards

    At The Stockton Mill, we don't just build furniture; we build heirlooms. To maintain our commitment to architectural precision and dedicated craftsmanship, we accept only SIX (6) major bunk bed commissions per calendar year. This limited approach ensures that every piece receives the undivided attention of a professional woodworker.

    1. Bespoke Architectural Installation (Beds Only)

    For our major bunk bed builds, we provide a total "Turnkey" solution. To ensure our All-Age Rated safety standards, our internal team handles the final assembly and on-site installation of every commission.

    • Expert Handling: Your suite is transported and installed by the same team that crafted the joinery.

    • Structural Integration: We perform a full structural assembly to ensure the unit is level, secure, and integrated into your home’s architecture.

    • Turnkey Service: We handle all logistics and debris removal. You provide the room; we provide the permanent asset.

    2. Logistics & Service Radius

    Our shipping and installation fees are determined by your location relative to our shop in Attica, Kansas (Zip 67009).

    • Included Installation (Within 500 Miles): Professional white-glove delivery and on-site installation are Included for all clients located within 500 miles of our shop.

    • National Installation (Beyond 500 Miles): For projects located outside our 500-mile regional radius, a flat logistics and installation fee of $3,000 to $5,000 applies.

    • Direct Consult: Contact Terry at 417-691-6200 for a precise architectural logistics estimate prior to purchase.

    3. The 2026 Build Slot System

    Every major project is tied to a specific "Build Slot" on our annual calendar.

    • First-Come, First-Served: Your purchase or deposit secures the next available slot on our 2026 Build Calendar.

    • The "Green Light" Rule: If you request a delay (due to home renovations, flooring, or paint), your project will be moved out of its original slot. We will place it back in the queue based on the date you give us the final "green light" to proceed.

    4. Mandatory Room Verification

    To ensure a successful installation, the following minimum footprints are required:

    • Straight Quad Suites: 172-inch minimum straight wall includes the stairwell.

    • L-Shaped Quad Suites: 138-inch (Wall A) x 95-inch (Wall B) minimum corner that includes a stairwell.

    • Ceiling Height: 8ft minimum (9ft for Estate Grand models).

    5. The Stockton Mill Standards

    • Mattresses Not Included.

    • Photos Take Precedence: Every build is hand-crafted and unique to your specific wall dimensions. Photos of the completed build are taken at the shop and serve as the primary visual reference.

    • Written Specifications: Written dimensions and technical specifications take precedence over conceptual sketches.
